OPPO hinted a few days ago that it would soon provide a new colour option for its smartphones in the Reno 8 series. A new Iris Purple colour option has been formally revealed by the corporation for the Chinese market today.
The rear panels of the Iris Purple OPPO Reno 8 series cellphones are textured and coloured purple, and they are covered with wavy stripes. Pre-orders for this new colour option are currently being taken in China.

The OPPO Reno 8 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 2,439 yuan for pre-order in the new Iris Purple colour option, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 2,698 yuan and the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs 2,989 yuan.
In contrast, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant in the OPPO Reno 8 Pro range costs 3,189 yuan, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB model costs 3,489 yuan.
The smartphones were offered in three colours before the Iris Purple colour option was introduced.
Along with the introduction of the new Iris Purple colour option for the OPPO Reno 8 series smartphones, the firm has also introduced a Summar Flower Fairy Purple Gift Box, which includes a perfume blind box for an additional 39.9 yuan.
