For a few days, Huawei teased its newest FreeBuds Pro 2 TWS earbuds, which the firm has today formally introduced during a launch event for Central and Eastern Europeans.
Devialet, a French manufacturer of sound technology, worked with Huawei to create the FreeBuds Pro 2 TWS earbuds. The new earphones have better performance and a longer battery life than the processor.
Three microphones and two drivers for 47dB noise cancellation are included in the recently unveiled Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2. As opposed to the previous generation model's noise cancellation level of 40dB, this sets a new standard for the brand.
With a frequency range of 14Hz to 48kHz, it offers the broadest frequency compatibility for Huawei earbuds. In order to improve sound output, the business has also introduced an adjustable equalisation that adapts to user behaviour.
Three alternative modes—General Mode, Cozy Mode, and Ultra Mode—are supported by the noise cancellation function. When engaging in outdoor activities, the user may also employ the Awareness Mode to be alert to their surroundings. This time, the earbuds are IP54 certified for water and dust protection, unlike their predecessor.
Although Huawei has not disclosed the FreeBuds Pro 2's battery size, it has guaranteed a battery life of up to 30 hours when used with the charging case. With Active Noise Cancellation activated, it delivers four hours of listening on a single battery and 6.5 hours without it.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 costs around €200 and is available in three colour options: Silver Blue, Silver Frost (Black), and Ceramic White. Huawei Band 7 is a complimentary gift for those who pre-order the earphones. It is currently available for pre-order and will begin arriving on July 11.
