POCO F4 5G tests its cooling capabilities against the OnePlus 10 Pro and iQOO 9 SE

 POCO will soon launch the POCO F4 5G smartphone worldwide. The Snapdragon 870 chipset has already been confirmed by the company. And now, the company has teased the performance of its thermal management system.


According to POCO, the F4 5G will use a Liquidcool 2.0 cooling system. This is a seven-layer, 3,112mm2 graphite-sheet vapour chamber. POCO also demonstrated the F4 5G's thermal performance by pitting it against devices such as the iQOO 9 SE and the OnePlus 10 Pro. During the thermal test, the POCO F4 averaged a few degrees cooler than the competition and throttled at 5%, compared to 18% for the iQOO 9 SE and 29% for the OnePlus 10 Pro.

The device is expected to have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and support for Dolby Vision.


The Snapdragon 870 processor will work with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device will run MIUI 13 on Android 12 and will have a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The smartphone is expected to feature a triple camera setup on the back, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It will most likely have a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Other features include dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster.
