The Axon 40 Ultra is ZTE's newest flagship smartphone, and it will be released globally on June 21. We've had some time to play with it in the office ahead of its release, and the result is an in-depth written review for your reading enjoyment.
Today, we've got a video review to go along with it, which aims to cover as much territory as possible in under 10 minutes. You'll discover all of the fundamentals about this phone including its construction and screen quality, battery life, performance, and, of course, camera picture quality without diving into the nitty gritty as much as our written review.
With its latest-generation under-display selfie camera (the best yet), 6.8-inch 1116x2480 120 Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (internationally, there are more options in China), and 5,000 mAh battery with 65W quick charging, the Axon 40 Ultra is a very interesting package. The three 64 MP cameras on the phone's back - a normal snapper with OIS, a 3.5x zoom cam with OIS, and an ultrawide with autofocus - are perhaps the most exciting feature.
With 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the phone will start at $800/€830/£710. If you want the 12/256GB version, you'll have to pay $900/€950/£810 more.
