This phone may be known as the Oppo Reno7 5G or the Oppp Find X5 Lite depending on where you live. In any case, it defies current trends by including a microSD slot and a 3.5mm jack in the spec sheet of its predecessor – a tried-and-true way to win over fans. These and other upgrades are discussed in detail in our video review, as well as how the phone compares to other mid-range phones:
The Reno7 5G comes about half a year after the Reno6 5G, so it's a relatively minor upgrade, as Will explains. Oppo also added HDR10+ support to the 90Hz AMOLED display and increased the base storage to 256GB. While these are welcome additions, we wish Oppo had pre-installed a more recent version of ColorOS, as this one is based on Android 11. It would have been nice to have some water resistance as well.
We also have a written review where you can listen to recordings from the loudspeaker, examine camera samples in greater detail, and read our battery life and charging report, among other things.
