Oppo posted a new teaser earlier today (30th June 2022) on Twitter for its upcoming Reno 8 series of smartphones. Although this teaser did not mention a release date, a tip has revealed a potential launch window for the upcoming devices.
I'll start with the official teaser, which was shared on the official Indian Twitter account of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Imagine the future of computational photography, the company said in this video as it teased the photography abilities of the upcoming smartphones. However, well-known tipper Abhishek Yadav posted a tweet with a picture that appeared to be an official teaser poster revealing the Reno 8 series' release date.
According to this image, the Reno 8 series will be announced in India on July 21, 2022. In other words, shortly after this date, the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro will be for sale. The two new smartphones are the Reno 7 series' successors, as their names imply. In India, there won't be a Reno 8 Pro+ model, contrary to a previous report; instead, the Reno 8 Pro will debut there.
Remember that this leak has not yet been verified and is not currently official. Other rumours suggested that the Reno 8 series would also debut in India on July 18, 2022. So, for now, treat this news with a grain of salt and check back for further developments.
