While the Oppo Reno 8 series is now available in China, the firm looks to be working on a fourth smartphone to join the existing three. The Reno 8Z name has now been validated by a certification listing.

The Reno 8 series consists of three models: the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. A Reno 8 Lite has also been rumoured recently, but another model has now been discovered on numerous certification databases. The Reno 8Z 5G was listed on NBTC and was even included in an EU statement. The handset's name, as well as its CPH2457 model number, were validated by the NBTC database.

The EU announcement, on the other hand, disclosed that it will be equipped with a BLP907 battery model number, which has a 4,500mAh capacity. This battery pack will also feature a 33W quick charging capability. The entry concludes by stating that it will operate on the ColorOS 12.1.1 custom skin, which is based on the Android 12 operating system. It is also expected to be the successor of the Reno 7Z 5G, as the name implies.

Outside of China, this model is now accessible in a few locations. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display on the front and a 54-megapixel dual camera configuration on the back. It also included a 4,500mAh battery with 33W rapid charging capability. So anticipate comparable specs with a few tweaks, so stay tuned for further information.
