On its blog, Google announced an intriguing new feature: toll pass prices while in navigation. Nearly 2,000 toll roads will be covered by the feature, which should be available on Android and iOS devices soon.

The estimated toll price to the destination will be gathered "thanks to trusted information from local tolling authorities," which will include specific details such as whether the road has a toll pass or not, what day of the week it is, and when the toll will be crossed.

Users will still be able to mark "Avoid tolls" in their Google Maps settings, and price changes will be offered based on their payment method.

India, Indonesia, Japan, and the United States will be the first countries to receive the feature, with more countries to follow soon.
