A few months ago, HMD Global released the Nokia G11, a low-cost Android smartphone, on the market. The company was able to sell millions of the gadgets.
The company has now unveiled the Nokia G11 Plus as its replacement. Despite the "Plus" in the name, the phone's features don't truly make it an improvement over the previous model.
The smartphone has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 720 x 1600 pixel screen resolution. The device is currently powered by an unknown processor from the company, however it is most likely an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC running at 1.6GHz.
It has 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot for up to 512GB of additional storage.
The phone includes a dual-camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens on the back for cameras. An 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls is located on the front.
The Nokia G11 Plus ships with the Android 12 operating system, and the company has promised to provide security updates for three years and OS upgrades for two years. It has a 4,000mAh battery inside.
The phone is available in Lake Blue and Charcoal Grey. The price has not yet been disclosed by the company, but we anticipate it to cost around $150 and to be on sale soon in a few areas.
