Motorola has unveiled the Moto G62 5G and G42 smartphones

 Motorola quietly announced two new Moto G phones: the Moto G62, which supports 5G, and the Moto G42, which supports LTE. Both phones will be available in Brazil soon, as well as in a few other European, Latin American, Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern regions in the coming weeks.


5G Moto G62


The Snapdragon 480+ Moto G62 5G features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a Snapdragon 480+ processor. A 16MP selfie camera is nestled inside a punch-hole cutout on the front, while a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP macro lens are found on the rear. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded through a microSD card slot.



The Moto G62 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging capabilities. Android 12 is the operating system, with MyUX UI on top. The phone also has dual speakers and Dolby Atmos capabilities, as well as a fingerprint sensor on the side that also serves as a power button. Graphite and Green are the two colour options available. At a later date, pricing and availability will be disclosed.


Moto G42 is a motorcycle manufactured by Moto.


The Moto G42 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It also has a 16MP selfie camera, as well as a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 is at the helm, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.


A 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos are also included in the G42. The phone starts up with Android 12 with MyUX on top. The Moto G42 is available in two colours: blue and rose. At a later date, pricing and availability will be disclosed.
