On July 5, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 series is expected to go on sale. Rival gaming smartphone manufacturers like Nubia and Black Shark are anticipated to release their top models, the Red Magic 7S and the Black Shark 5S series, in the upcoming weeks. What to anticipate from the Black Shark 5 series has been disclosed via a recent leak from Digital Chat Station.

Specifications for the Black Shark 5S and 5S Pro (rumored)

A 6.67-inch pressure-sensitive OLED display with a punch-hole in the centre will be available on Black Shark 5S series devices. Both an FHD+ resolution and a fast refresh rate will be supported. The Black Shark 5 series' 144Hz refresh rate will likely be supported by it as well.

The Black Shark 5S duo's engine will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will be paired with a brand-new SSD storage technology, according to the tipper. A 4,790mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities will be included.

A triple camera system will be on the Black Shark 5S pair. The main camera on the basic model is 64 megapixels, while the main camera on the Pro variant can be 108 megapixels. An x-axis linear motor, two linear stereo speakers, and dual magnetic pop-up triggers are additional features that will be offered in the Black Shark 5S series.

Android 12 OS and Joy UI 13 might be preinstalled on Black Shark 5S series devices. It might still have a fingerprint scanner on the side.

At the end of March this year, the Black Shark 5, Black Shark 5 Pro, and Black Shark 5 RS became official. The Black Shark 5S series could be introduced by the corporation at least six months following the Black Shark 5 range.
