Apple recently revealed new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro computers with the newest M2 processor, and new iPad Pro versions with the new Apple Silicon M2 chip are scheduled to be released in the coming months.
It has been speculated that Apple will release a new 14.1-inch iPad Pro, but according to a recent report from Ross Young, the gadget may not be a Pro model but rather a normal iPad.
Ross Young has officially stated that the next 14.1-inch iPad will not include a mini-LED display. Furthermore, the tablet is unlikely to have the ProMotion screen, which means that an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate will be unavailable.
Given that the iPad Pro models have supported ProMotion displays since 2017, this discovery has led to speculation that the next tablet will not be part of the iPad Pro line.
He also stated that the forthcoming 11-inch iPad Pro will not be equipped with mini-LED illumination, despite the fact that the 12.9-inch model did so last year. Later this year, Apple is likely to refresh both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models with the M2 processor and other improvements.
Following claims that the 14.1-inch iPad will be released later this year, rumours now indicate that the tablet would not be released until the first quarter of 2023.
