Samsung is preparing to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphone in the shape of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, which are likely to be unveiled in the coming months.
While the official launch is still months away, various leaks and rumours have disclosed some important details about the future phones. A fresh report offers insight on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone's internal storage.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4's top-end variant would include 1TB of internal storage. This is most likely due to the device's lack of support for a microSD card to enhance storage space.
This isn't the first Samsung smartphone with 1TB of internal storage. The Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a 1TB storage option, however the Galaxy S10 Plus was the first to provide such a large storage capacity.
The South Korean behemoth will keep offering 256GB and 512GB internal storage choices, as well as a 1TB storage option. Given that the 512GB storage variant costs $1,899, the tablet may cost roughly $2,000 in that instance.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is rumoured to include a 7.6-inch inside screen and a 6.2-inch exterior screen, similar to its predecessor. The phone, on the other hand, is reported to have a thinner and lighter hinge, as well as reduced bezels and a wide aspect ratio.
It'll almost certainly be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 engine and include a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor on the back panel, as well as a superior telephoto lens with 3x zoom capabilities.
The phone is believed to come pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system and the company's One UI proprietary user interface. It might be powered by a 4,400mAh battery that charges in 25 minutes.
