While we've already discussed some of the best smartphones for various budgets, we've compiled a list of some of the best premium Android smartphones in India today. So, let's take a look at it.

Galaxy S22 is a series of Samsung smartphones.

Samsung's flagship smartphones must be included in any list. With the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung is essentially providing a premium handset experience that may suit the needs of various people. To begin with, the entire lineup is powered by either the Exynos 2200 (Europe) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. (ROW). The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are all part of the Galaxy S22 series.

The main difference between the three models is their screen sizes: the base model has a 6.1-inch display, the Plus model has a 6.6-inch display, and the Ultra model has a 6.8-inch display. The series features some of the best smartphone displays on the market, thanks to Samsung's AMOLED panels. The Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra, in particular, have one of the brightest screens on a smartphone (with 1750 nits of peak brightness).

The Galaxy S22 is one of the best compact smartphones on the market for those looking for a premium handset that isn't too large. The Galaxy S22+, on the other hand, is a worthy consideration for those looking for a larger flagship device. There is even a Galaxy Note device option, with the Galaxy S22 Ultra being offered with a stylus for productivity-minded users. The base model costs 75,999 INR (approximately $975), while the Plus model costs 88,999 INR (approximately $1,140). The top-of-the-line Ultra model costs 118,999 INR ($1,525), and the entire series is available on Amazon India.

The Vivo X80 Pro is a smartphone from Vivo.

The Vivo X80 Pro is the Chinese company's top flagship device. The company has offered premium handsets with top-notch specs with the X80 series (excluding the X80 Pro+ in India). The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, Quad HD AMOLED Display, and 80W fast charging support are all included in the X80 Pro model. The 6.78-inch display also has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 1500 nits.

Despite all of these impressive features, its camera setup is unquestionably its distinguishing feature. It comes with a quad camera system that includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 48 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 12 megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8 megapixel periscopic zoom lens. The camera module also has Zeiss optics and a Zeiss T* lens coating, and its camera performance has been praised. The smartphone is currently available on Flipkart for 79,999 INR (approximately $1,025).

iQOO 9 Pro is a new product from iQOO.

The iQOO 9 Pro is a good option for those looking for a flagship smartphone with a strong camera but don't want to spend more than $1,000. It has the latest specs and features, including a 6.78-inch LTPO Gen 2 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, as well as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The smartphone's camera setup is once again the highlight, with the iQOO 9 Pro possibly being a cheaper alternative to the Vivo X80 Pro.

It has the same 50-megapixel primary sensor as the X80 Pro, as well as a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. Unfortunately, there is no periscopic zoom lens, but the other two sensors on the iQOO model provide nearly the same level of robust photography as the Vivo X80 Pro. The device is currently available on Amazon for 64,990 INR (approximately $833).

Xiaomi 12 Pro is a smartphone from Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi 12 series is by far one of the more affordable flagship smartphones, with the Xiaomi 12 Pro being the most affordable model on our list.

While most of these features are standard in this price range, the rear cameras are unquestionably the most notable. The Xiaomi 12 Pro manages to offer some of the most consistent shooting experiences across its entire rear camera module thanks to its three 50 megapixel cameras. Color reproduction and quality are said to be comparable between the primary sensor and the ultra wide angle lens. When switching to any of the auxiliary camera modes, one does not lose out on the overall prowess of the main sensor. The device costs 62,999 INR and is available for purchase on Amazon (roughly 807 US Dollars).
