Poco's global wing just stated that the Poco C40 would be released on June 16. The brand's Vietnam unit, on the other hand, has already made the inexpensive smartphone public. Everything about the item, including its price and availability, is now public knowledge.
Specifications for the Poco C40
The Poco C40 has a 6.71-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels (HD+), a 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The panel has a dewdrop notch and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass in an undisclosed version.
When it comes to the chipset, the Poco C40 is equipped with a JLQ JR10 SoC. It's the first smartphone using this processor from a well-known company.
It runs Android 11 as far as software is concerned. Unfortunately, at this time, the specific version of MIUI is unknown.
In terms of optics, the phone has a dual-camera arrangement on the back with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there's a 5MP camera on the front.
The phone has a dual SIM card slot, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, and a USB Type-C connector for connectivity. A dedicated MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor are among the other features.
The handset is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging. It does, however, come with a 10W charger.
The device's whole body is composed of plastic. Its measurements are 169.59 x 76.56 x 9.18mm, and it weighs 204g.
Price and Availability of the Poco C40
The Poco C40 is available in three colours: black, yellow, and green. At least in Vietnam, it comes with a single memory option of 4GB + 64GB.
In Vietnam, the phone costs VND 3,490,000 ($150). It is set to be on sale throughout the country on June 17th.
According to a leak, the phone would have a global average selling price of $177.
