Samsung's next clamshell foldable phone has been spotted in the wild. TechTalkTV, a YouTuber, managed to get his hands on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 before it was released, and posted a video (which has since been removed) showing the design of the upcoming foldable. The images show a design that is largely similar to the outgoing Z Flip 3, but they also show the few changes made by Samsung.

According to the source, the Z Flip 4 has a smaller hinge, which contributes to the device's slightly smaller footprint. Although the image shows a less prominent display crease than the one on the Z Flip 3, the inner screen appears to be identical to that on the Z Flip 3. However, we'll have to wait for reviews to see if this is true.

The larger external display, which is rumoured to be over 2-inch in diagonal compared to the 1.9-inch panel on the Z Flip 3's external display, is perhaps the biggest change (pun intended). The device continues to have a two-tone matte finish. A larger 3,700mAh battery with 25W charging, according to the source, would be a welcome addition. On August 10, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip is expected to be included in the upcoming foldable.
