The newest SX12 Notebook from VAIO has been released in Japan. The new VAIO SX12 is a 12.5-inch slim notebook weighing less than one kilogramme. It features a lot of connectors and can accommodate up to an Intel Core i7-1260P CPU. The most recent SX12 is also available in an All Black Edition with a Core i7-1280P CPU and optional 5G capability.

The new VAIO SX12 is a 12.5-inch laptop that is lightweight and portable. It's perfect for folks who want to carry their laptop about with them at all times. Don't let its small size fool you; with to an update to a 12th generation Intel Core processor, the new VAIO SX12 boasts 1.5 times the CPU performance of prior versions.


Original VAIO TruePerformance tuning is included in the laptop, which optimises power supply and heat dissipation capacity for longer peak performance. It has a full HD wide liquid crystal display, a Core i7-1260P CPU with 12 cores and 16 threads, LPDDR4X 16GB memory, 512GB PCIe SSD storage, and many more features. The laptop will come pre-installed with the Windows 11 operating system.




The VAIO SX12 is tiny, but its keyboard key arrangement is conventional and follows universal guidelines, so you won't have any trouble typing. There are two Thunderbolt 4 connections, two USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet connectors, HDMI, and a nice 3.5mm headphone jack on this one.


It sports a 2.07-megapixel camera and can recognise faces. In addition, the laptop is compatible with Wi-Fi 6E. With a body weight of only 899g and a battery life of up to 26 hours, the new VAIO SX12 is the lightest configuration that fulfils the MIL-STD-810H quality standard.


Urban Bronze, Fine White, Fine Black, Bright Silver, and Rose Gold are the five colour possibilities.


A VAIO SX12 ALL BLACK EDITION with a 14-core / 20-thread Core i7-1280P CPU and an optional 5G modem is also available.
