The Huawei P50 Pocket, the company's immensely popular clamshell folding flagship, will soon be available in a new "Gray Leather" colour option, according to an announcement made today on the brand's official Weibo account. On July 4th, the brand's Huawei Nova 10 series launch event in China will formally introduce the new colour choice together with the company's AITO M7 electric car series.
Obsidian Black, Crystal White, and a limited-edition Glit Gold colorway were the three premium colour options available for the Huawei P50 Pocket when it was introduced in December of last year. Surprisingly, the Huawei P50 Pocket will be the first clamshell foldable to incorporate a leather folding outside in the smartphone industry. The new "Gray Leather" exterior is rumoured to offer greater grip and better drop resistance than its glass cousin.

The Vivo X Fold is powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and has a 4600mAh battery. It also supports 66W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging. The foldable flagship has a quad camera arrangement on the back, including a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens, and a 5MP periscope lens. When taking pictures, the camera's Zeiss optics and Zeiss T* lens coating maximise light efficiency.

Giztop offers the Vivo X Fold for sale starting at US$1799. Interested buyers should know that this is a Chinese edition phone, however it comes with sideloaded versions of Google Mobile Services and the Google Play Store already installed.
