Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Box 4S Max in China last week. It has a new chipset, as well as more storage and RAM. As a result, it was expected to be released in international markets, as it appears to be an upgrade over the Mi Box S/Mi Box 4K sold outside of China. Unfortunately, it appears that this is not the case.

Xiaomi's global wing confirmed to Android Authority that it has no plans to release the Xiaomi Box 4S Max in international markets at this time. Perhaps the company will announce the product later, as the Mi Box, which is currently available in global markets, took some time to arrive.

In terms of specifications, the latest Xiaomi Box 4S Max is equipped with an Amlogic S905X3 chipset. Not only does the new chip support 4K payback, but it also supports 8K decoding.

The product's main selling point is its memory configuration. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is unusual for a smart TV and streaming device.

WiFi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options. Finally, it launches MIUI for TV, which is based on Android and includes support for the XiaoAI virtual assistant as well as popular Chinese streaming apps.

Importing the Xiaomi Box 4S Max would be pointless because it runs software designed for China.
