The CMIIT authority in China has given its approval to two upcoming Motorola phones. The two devices have model numbers of XT2251-1 and XT2243-2. The first appears to be the Motorola Frontier flagship, which will be released in China soon.
The XT2251-1, according to the Chinese tipster who spotted the CMIIT listing, could be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship, which could be released in July. The XT2243-2 appears to be part of the Edge line. Unfortunately, there is no information on the specifications of these smartphones in the CMIIT listings.
According to recent reports, Motorola's Frontier flagship will be the world's first Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 device. While the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is expected to launch in global markets, there is no word on what it will be called in China.
