There are still people who adhere to the adage "if it ain't broke, don't repair it" even in a time when huge displays and swipey movements are the standard. In an Instagram photo he shared with his cherished 2015 iPhone, actor Chris Evans expressed his reluctance to give up his iPhone 6S.
Evans dedicates a heartfelt Instagram message to his six-year-old iPhone by writing, "I'll miss your home button." "I won't miss the daily struggle to seize your charge. or your blurry photos. Or your battery suddenly lowers from 100% to 15% to entirely dead in a matter of minutes. A crazy ride it was. Relax, buddy.
Presumably an iPhone 13 mini is the new smartphone shown in the photograph. The iPhone 6S, which has a slightly bigger footprint than the 13 small, appears to be roughly the same size as this device.
It appears that Evans experienced problems with a failing battery and maybe a temperamental lightning port. Even though it was getting on in years, the iPhone 6S was still officially supported on OS 15, but that support would have ended with the autumn release of iOS 16.
