Tecno held a launch ceremony for their new Camon 19 series in New York's Rockefeller Center. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro is one of the family's members, and it's the world's first phone featuring a Samsung-made 64 MP RGBW sensor.

At 0.98 mm, the new phone features the "industry's slimmest bezel," according to the manufacturer.

The Camon 19 Pro features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The selfie camera has a single punch hole, while the rear has a diamond covering that looks like 200 million crystals. The main camera setup is in a double ring, although there are three shooters in all.

The smartphone's camera technology is its most amazing feature. It's the first to have the ISOCELL GWB sensor, a 64-megapixel sensor with a red-green-blue-white colour filter. The white is added to let the camera to receive up to 30% more light for better night photography.

A 50 megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom is included in the trio of cameras. It features a 50 mm equivalent focal length, and the vendor recommends using Portrait Mode to blur the backdrop artificially.

A dedicated Night mode activates all available resources, including the brilliant sensor, OIS, and EIS, to produce spectacular photographs. HDR is also supported.

We were disappointed to hear that the Camon 19 Pro is powered by the same Helio G96 processor as the preceding Camon 18 Premier. The Helio G99 was launched by Mediatek, and it's meant to decrease the device's temperature, but that's not the case with the Camon 19 series, at least not yet. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 33W rapid charging.
