In Malaysia, ZTE unveiled the Blade A72 and Blade A52, two smartphones from the Blade series. Both phones feature Unisoc processors, 13-megapixel primary cameras, and large batteries.
The Blade A72 features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Blade A52 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate. Within the waterdrop notch on both phones are 5MP selfie cameras.
They also have a 13MP main camera in the back, as well as two 2MP auxiliary cameras.
The Unisoc SC9863A chipset is shared by both phones, though the Blade A72 has 3GB RAM while the A52 has only 2GB. Both units have 64GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded using the microSD slot. Android 11 OS is used on the software side, with ZTE's MiFovor 11 on top. The Blade A72 has a 6,000 mAh battery, while the A52 has a 5,000 mAh battery.
The ZTE Blade A72 is available in Space Gray and Sky Blue and costs MYR 499 ($114). Blade A52 costs MYR 399 ($91) and comes in Silk Gold and Space Grey.
