Samsung will remove the cover from the rugged smartphone, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, on July 13. The company will also introduce the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, a tough tablet, at the same time. The XCover 6 Pro has already had a lot of information leaked by the rumour mill. Now, reputable tipster Evan Blass has tweeted a few times to share the rugged smartphone's promotional images and technical specifications.

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will have a 6.5-inch TFT display on its front that features Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The screen is made to operate with leather gloves that are 2 mm or thinner. The XCover 6 Pro has a waterdrop notch display with substantial bezels surrounding it, as seen in the promotional photos. The gadget is 168.8 x 79.9 x 9.9mm in size, and it weighs about 235 grammes.
It will have a 13-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls. A 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens will be mounted on its back panel, assisted by an LED flash.
The Snapdragon 778G, a 5G-ready chipset, is said to power the gadget. It will have a dedicated microSD card slot, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage. It has a 4,050mAh battery that can be changed by the user. The charger will not be included. The business will also sell a separate pogo charging dock.
A programmable key on the top and an XCover key will be included with the XCover 6 Pro. It will support face unlocking and have a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. The XCover 6 Pro also has a chassis that is MIL-STD-810 graded and IP68 rated, support for Dolby Atmos, WiFi 6E, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
