Apple's forthcoming AirPods Pro 2 might be identical to its predecessor.

The AirPods Pro 2 is the next-generation version of Apple's famous AirPods Pro true wireless earphones, which were released in 2019. Several times, the future TWS earbuds have been leaked online.


Now, according to the most recent information, the AirPods Pro 2 will have the same same design as its predecessor. This contradicts prior claims that the earphones will be substantially redesigned.





There have already been reports and leaked photographs relating to the second-generation AirPods Pro, which include a few design tweaks. However, according to a recent rumour from MacRumors, the next earbuds will not have the so-called stemless design.


The earbuds will have a skin-detect sensor, which debuted with the newly released Apple AirPods 3, and allows for a more accurate determination of whether the earbuds are in the user's ears or not. It detects the amount of water in the wearer's skin.


According to prior sources, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 would be powered by an updated processor that will have sophisticated audio-related features such as active noise suppression and other enhancements, as well as longer battery life.




It's also being suggested that the earbuds may support Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC), which would make them the first TWS earphones from the Cupertino-based tech titan to do so.


The charging case for the future earbuds might also have sound-emitting functionality, which could assist users locate the charging case if it gets separated from the AirPods or becomes forgotten.


In terms of availability, we estimate the AirPods 2 Pro will not be available for purchase until Q4 2022, which means they will be accessible for purchase during the Christmas season this year, between October and December.
