 OnePlus released the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G smartphone in select European markets last month. The smartphone has also been speculated for the Indian market, and we now know when it will be released.



According to industry sources, the device will launch in India sometime in June, according to tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz). The story does not provide a debut date, but given that it is already June, it is expected to be announced shortly.


Specifications for the Oneplus Nord 2T 5G

We already know all of the device's characteristics and functions because it's on store shelves in various countries. The phone boasts a 6.43-inch flat AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. A punch-hole cutout is positioned on the top left of the display screen, and the fingerprint scanner is located on the power button.



The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC with 5G support and a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports SuperVOOC rapid charging at 80W. The gadget comes pre-installed with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 software.


The smartphone's optics include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the gadget boasts a 32-megapixel IMX615 sensor on the front.


Costing (expected)

The smartphone debuted in Europe for €399, indicating that it will most likely launch in India for less than 30,000 rupees.
