According to reports, Motorola is working on the Edge 30 Ultra, which might be the first phone to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU. The flagship phone is likely to make its debut in China first, before making its way to other regions. The Lenovo-owned company is also rumoured to be working on a new Edge series phone, which will be called the Motorola Edge (2022). The gadget will contain the newest Dimensity processor, according to a listing on Geekbench (via).

According to the Geekbench listing, the Motorola Edge (2022) is powered by an octa-core chipset with 2 x 2.50GHz CPU cores and 6 x 2.0GHz CPU cores. It has a Mali-G610 graphics processor. These data strongly suggest that the Edge (2022) is powered by Motorola's Dimensity 1050, which was introduced last month.

The tablet is also packed with 8 GB of RAM and Android 12 OS, according to the Geekbench listing. Geekbench 5 gave it 745 points in the single-core test and 2142 points in the multi-core test.
