ZTE is preparing to unveil the Axon 40, Axon 40 Pro, and Axon 40 Ultra, the next-generation flagship smartphones in the Axon line. The smartphones will be formally released in the Chinese market next week, on May 9th.

The business has begun teasing certain important features of the phone through posters ahead of the actual launch. The business reveals the security chip and camera sensor in the most recent teaser poster, which was released today.

The Axon 40 series smartphones will be outfitted with an independent security chip for hardware-level protection, according to the manufacturer. These chips are often used as a gateway for encryption and authentication functionality.

In addition, the Axon 40 Pro will include a 100-megapixel camera configuration. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will include a triple-camera configuration with a 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide OmniVision OV64GB sensor, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64GB telephoto lens, as previously disclosed.

It was previously revealed that the Axon 40 series would have next-generation stereo speakers capable of providing an out-of-this-world audio experience. Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sound and dtsX Ultrasound technologies are also supported on the smartphones.

According to sources, the devices would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. It will also include an under-display camera arrangement and an almost bezel-free display screen. We expect the corporation to clarify these information through teaser posters in the coming days, given the debut is still a few days away.
