According to a source, a WhatsApp beta feature that allows group managers to remove any individual message/messages for everyone in the group has been updated. In addition to banning members from sending messages to groups and preventing members from making any information modifications, the feature will provide admins more control, which could help keep the group monitored. It was first released in December of last year, and the upgrade has already been seen on WhatsApp beta for Android. WhatsApp beta for iOS and desktop are believed to have the capability.

Group admins will soon be allowed to erase messages for everyone in groups, according to WABetainfo, a platform that tests beta features on WhatsApp. The feature is under development and has not yet been pushed out to beta testers, according to WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.11.4, however there is an update. When admins delete a message for the entire group, a pop-up notice will appear notifying them that "they are deleting someone else' message in the chat," and everyone will be able to see that the message has been erased.

This is comparable to the present 'remove for everyone' feature, which was implemented in 2017. From personal and/or group chats, people can only remove their own messages. If you are an admin of a group, however, you will be allowed to delete messages sent by any group member following this upgrade. Furthermore, when you remove a message, it will be visible to everyone, most likely via a placeholder, that the message was deleted and who deleted it.

This feature is still in development and will be rolled out to WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop in the near future. It was first added in a December update.

WhatsApp is one of several platforms being chastised for promoting the spread of fake news. Over the years, the firm has said that it has taken steps to prevent the spread of disinformation on the platform. However, there is currently no reliable method for detecting bogus news on WhatsApp.

Admins will be able to more effectively curb spam and misinformation on WhatsApp by being able to delete group members' messages, as well as restricting users from submitting messages to their groups and preventing them from making any undesirable group information updates.

According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp also intends to expand the time limit for deleting a message for everyone. 2 days and 12 hours are the alternatives, and they should be available in a future release.
