Vivo is getting ready to debut its T2 smartphone line in China. While we've already covered the base T2 model, a new source has provided some important details about another model in the same range.

The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known Weibo tipster who divulged key details about the impending T2X smartphone. According to the source, this model will be a low-cost handset that will cost less than 1,000 Yuan (roughly 150 US Dollars). Despite the high price, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will focus on providing good performance and battery life. The Vivo T2X will reportedly include a 6.58-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution on the front.

The dual camera arrangement on the back panel consists of a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor. In the meantime, the front of the phone has a 16 megapixel selfie camera. The gadget is expected to have a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood. The model will be powered by a large 6,000mAh battery pack that enables 44W rapid charging out of the box, according to the source.

The T2X will have a thickness of 9.21mm and weigh roughly 202 grammes. On June 6, this model will most likely be released alongside the T2 base model. The Vivo T2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 SoC and supports 80W fast charging. It will also have a 120Hz OLED display on the front and a 64 megapixel triple camera array on the back.
