On May 19, the Vivo S15 line of smartphones was unveiled in China. The Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro are two variants in the series. Since their formal introduction, both models have been available for pre-order. Starting today, the S15 range is available for purchase on the home market, as planned (May 27).
Price of Vivo S15 and S15 Pro
The Vivo S15 Pro comes in three different configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. They cost 2,699 Yuan (US$401), 2,999 Yuan (US$445), and 3,299 Yuan (US$490). Midsummer Blue, Light Gold, and Black.
The Vivo S15, on the other hand, is available in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These cost $3399 Yuan ($505) and $3699 Yuan ($549), respectively. It's available in two colours: Midsummer Blue and Black.
Specifications of the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro
The Vivo S15 features a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 870 processor, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging capability. It sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a triple camera arrangement of 64-megapixel (primary, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro).
The Vivo S15 Pro features a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 8100 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple camera unit with 50-megapixel (primary, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth). Both phones include an in-display fingerprint scanner and are powered by Android 12 with the OriginOS Ocean UI on top.
