Vi (previously Vodafone Idea) announced the debut of its Rs. 82 prepaid add-on pack on Monday, which includes access to SonyLIV Premium mobile-only subscription for 28 days. The new bundle is the product of Vi's collaboration with SonyLIV, which aims to bring fresh over-the-top (OTT) content the former's prepaid users. The telecom also provides Vi Movies and TV subscriptions to select prepaid subscribers, which are said to provide access to over 450 live TV channels, including news channels, as well as premium content from other OTT applications.
The Rs. 82 Vi prepaid add-on pack provides access to numerous sports streams such as UEFA Champions League, WWE, Bundesliga, and UFC as well as originals such as Scam 1992 — The Harshad Mehta Story, Mahrani, and Gullak Season: 3. International series such as The Good Doctor, Fantasy Island, and Magpie Murders are also available on the OTT platform.
It's worth noting that the SonyLIV Premium membership included with the Vi pack is only available on mobile devices. This implies you won't be able to see any of the accessible stuff on your television. SonyLIV's Premium membership is generally priced at Rs. 299 per month.
The Rs. 82 Vi prepaid plan also offers 4GB of high-speed data access with a 14-day validity period.
In addition to the new prepaid pack with SonyLIV access, Vi offers five prepaid packs including a year of access to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile. These plans range in price from Rs. 499 to Rs. 3,099.
