On Monday, Vi (previously Vodafone Idea) released new international unlimited roaming plans for its subscribers. Vi Unlimited International Roaming plans start at Rs. 599 and go up to Rs. 5,999. The former has a 24-hour validity period, whereas the latter has a 28-day validity period. These plans are available for customers travelling to the UAE, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Australia, Thailand, and Brazil. On its roaming networks, it provides limitless phone and data support across all travel destinations. The Always On function of the Vi Postpaid Roaming Packs is designed to prevent outrageous fees while on international roaming, even after the subscribed pack has expired.
Customers may now purchase a new selection of international roaming bundles from the telecom provider, which was announced on Monday. Vi's foreign roaming plans range in price from Rs. 599 for a one-day validity to Rs. 5,999 for a 28-day validity. They provide limitless bandwidth and voice calls.
Vi now offers roaming services with local service providers in 81 countries. It has also introduced an Always On function to ensure that subscribers are not overcharged even after their subscription plans have expired. For example, if a traveller who has purchased a seven-day Vi Postpaid Roaming Pack needs to extend their stay, they can continue to use their phone for voice, SMS, and internet at conventional rates until their usage value reaches Rs. 599. The user will be charged Rs. 599 for each extra day they use the International Roaming capability after crossing Rs. 599.
