Naruto is one of my favourite Japanese manga series, and I feel it has impacted the lives of countless fans like me over the last two decades. Despite the fact that the television series concluded in 2017, its vitality is still felt around the world, as evidenced by the abundance of Naruto-related items. And now, I'm really thrilled to present you to the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto, Realme's first Naruto special edition smartphone. It's not the first time the company has released an anime-themed smartphone. The first was the Realme GT Neo 2 Dragonball Z Edition (Unboxing), and if you're interested, you can see our unboxing video by clicking the card in the corner. But believe me when I say that the second partnership with Naruto is more appealing to fans.
We get excited at the first glimpse of the box and begin to anticipate more. It's a summoning scroll, in fact! It is one of the most crucial pieces of equipment in a ninja's arsenal in the series. It appears to be the summoning scroll Naruto held when he appeared in the battle against Pain, as shown by the hue. That scene is also one of my personal favourites from the series. As a result, this scroll holds a lot of memories for fans of the series, and it's also quite collectible.
The scroll is constructed of a leather-like substance that is soft to the touch. It was surprisingly easy to open, but there were no ninja skills or a summoning contract between Naruto and Bunta within.
When you lift the scroll's cover from one side, you'll notice a semi-cylindrical drawer in the same dark green colour as the Ninja flak jacket. When you take it out, you'll see the Uzumaki Clan's logo on the cover, which is also on the back of Naruto's jacket. The Realme and Naruto Shippuden collaboration logo can be found at the bottom.
We also discovered a small smart item inside, the sim-card pin. It has become the leaf village's icon. The phone will appear in front of you after you remove the cover panel. The design on the back clearly indicates that this is a complete Naruto-custom edition when you turn it over. It's designed to look like Naruto's jacket from the Shippuden series, with upper matte black and lower brilliant orange sections. The Uzumaki clan's insignia appears in the middle once more.
The Naruto edition of the Realme GT Neo 3 includes a metal-like plate beneath the camera module compared to the ordinary version. The Leaf Village ninjas' forehead protector is something I'm sure fans are familiar with. It made me imagine that if I scratched a hole in the centre, it would turn into a bespoke Akatsuki. Okay, I was joking.
Another memorable aspect of Naruto is the whisker-like scars on Naruto's cheeks, which can be seen if you look closely. They weren't true scars, but they were markings left by the Bijuu's presence.
Now set the phone aside; we'll go over the intricacies of the phone's personalization in the software later. There's still a charging wire, a protective cover, and a 160W fast charger at the bottom of the drawer. However, just the charging brick was altered to match the phone's Naruto theme. Several unique phone cases were introduced with the Naruto phone, however it appears that they are no longer included and must be purchased individually.
Let's have a look at what we've got in the software now. When setting up the phone for the first time, I'm delighted to learn that the limited edition allows many languages. Despite the fact that we have no idea whether the limited edition will be officially launched in the global market, you can still get more language options regardless of where you buy it. Although Google apps are not pre-installed on the phone, you may still install them manually.
The limited phone comes pre-loaded with a Naruto UI style and a slew of unique app icons. There are also three personalised wallpapers to choose from. The charging effect is another unique feature that sets it apart from the normal version. The circular graphic of the five basic natures will appear when you activate 150W rapid charging with the bundled charger, and it will inform you how much power is collected back.
There are no other customizations that we could find save the ones we showed you above. In fact, we're still hoping for additional surprises in this limited-edition release. As a result, ideally the brand can continue to improve the software for fans.
The personalised edition is without a doubt the most striking special edition model from the brand, with a strong Naruto influence. Regardless, we can tell they're serious about the co-branded device from the scroll packaging and the phone itself.
Don't forget that the entire story began with the theft of a prohibited scroll.
The phone then appears to try to narrate the story of Naruto, one of the most lovable characters in anime history, from the scroll to the family badge, the leaf village sign, and the cheeks' mark. We'd like to end this film with quoting Naruto's most famous dialogue!
"My ambition for the future is to become the greatest Hokage!"
