Twitter for Android is apparently working on a slew of new capabilities, including the ability to attach images and videos to the same message. Statuses, Awards, and a pronouns page are among the features being developed. According to a recent report, Twitter is testing a new tool called Twitter Circle, which allows users to handpick a smaller group of 150 individuals with whom they wish to share their tweets. The microblogging platform was also believed to be working on including an edit option.

According to 9to5Google, a new Twitter for Android update has hinted at numerous additional features in the future. 9to5Google contributor Dylan Roussel identified a handful of Twitter's new features, such as Statuses. This feature is anticipated to add status to tweets and to display a status on the user's profile.

Twitter is also said to be developing an Awards function. Roussel discovered a button that allows users to reward a tweet. A tweet will also display how many awards it has gotten. Separately, Join and Discover buttons have been found, both of which are thought to be focused for profile/tweet discovery. Another feature that Twitter is believed to be working on is a pronouns page.

The microblogging site appears to be allowing users to post both a photo and a video in the same message. Tweets containing media may currently only include a gallery of up to four photographs or a single video. There is no possibility to tweet photographs and videos at the same time. Twitter is supposedly shaking things up by allowing users to mix media, allowing them to include up to four pieces of media in a tweet, which can be photographs or videos.

Twitter also announced this week that it is testing a new tool called Twitter Circle, which allows users to handpick a smaller group of 150 individuals with whom they want to share their tweets. The new Twitter function appears to be operational.

Furthermore, the social networking site is claimed to be working on incorporating an edit option into its platform. A tipster has shared a series of claimed pictures depicting various features of this functionality. Aside from displaying the symbols and the new layout on Twitter's Web version, the tipster has also disclosed some incomplete options, such as the Edit History. The layout of the iOS and Android versions is planned to be comparable. Twitter has not yet publicly introduced this functionality.
