Mobvoi, a Chinese wristwatch manufacturer, has released a new inexpensive smartwatch that supports 4G calls. In the brand's home market, the TicWatch GTW eSIM is available for 999 yuan ($150). It is currently available for pre-order on Jingdong (JD.com).

As you may expect, the TicWatch GTW eSIM offers autonomous eSIM calling. Users can make calls while rushing outside in the morning, heading downstairs with the dog, or picking up couriers without having to take their phones with them.

The GTW eSIM has a 1.39-inch retina-level AMOLED screen that is protected by a wear-resistant and scratch-resistant glass. The watch is 38.5 grammes and has a 22mm textured s

ilicone strap that is soft to the touch, breathable, and quick to dry.

The TicWatch GTW eSIM, like all Mobvoi smartwatches, supports over 100 sports modes, including rock climbing, sailing, cycling, and many others. The watch, which uses the self-developed TicMotion Al algorithm, can detect whether the user is walking, jogging, or riding. Basic functionalities such as heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and bus access control are also supported.

The watch is waterproof to IP68 standards. There is also Bluetooth compatibility, allowing users to pair a headphone and listen to music while exercising without the need for a companion smartphone.

One of the more intriguing aspects is the 30-day battery life when used regularly. The watch may live up to 7 days in harsh conditions.
