Samsung revealed on its community forum that the One UI Watch test programme for Galaxy Watch4 customers would begin on June 2. This is possibly the first time we've seen a smart wearable beta programme. Unfortunately, the promotion is only available to South Korean owners.
After June 2, owners who are eligible can apply for the beta release through Samsung's Members app. Following the start of the deployment, the Korean tech giant will release a beta version of the upcoming One UI Watch, as well as a beta of the companion wearable app for your phone.
However, there is a catch. You won't be able to go back once you've entered the programme and installed the beta software. You'll be stuck with the beta version of the OS until Samsung publishes the stable version. Additionally, if you've participated in the beta programme and then left, you won't be able to reapply. After all, places are limited, and you'll need to act quickly if you want to participate in the upcoming upgrade.
If prior Samsung beta programmes are any indication, this one will certainly go outside South Korea.
