The Galaxy XCover Pro 2 is expected to be Samsung's first 5G rugged smartphone. Multiple leaks have already occurred, and renders of the smartphone have also surfaced online. According to a fresh claim, Samsung may change the rugged smartphone's naming strategy.
The smartphone will have a different marketing moniker, according to a recent Google Play Console listing. It will be known as the Galaxy XCover6 Pro instead of the Galaxy XCover Pro 2.
Aside from that, several of the specs of the impending tough device have been validated by the Google console listing.
According to the listing, the phone's model number is SM-G736U, and it will be powered by Qualcomm's SM7325 processor, which has four cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The Snapdragon 778G is the SoC in question.
The phone will have a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a pixel density of 450 pixels per inch. It will also include a dew-drop notch and thick bezels all the way around the screen. According to prior rumours, the device's screen would be 6.5 inches and will have an AMOLED panel. It will have dimensions of 169.5mm x 81.1mm x 10.1mm and a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as an Android 12-based operating system.
The device's release date and pricing are yet unknown, but the Google Console's appearance suggests that it will be available in the coming months.
