The Android 12-based One UI 4.1 upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy M22 has apparently begun. The upgrade is supposed to include the South Korean tech giant's latest custom skin as well as the April 2022 security patch. The firmware version M225FVXXU4BFD8 comes with the Android 12 upgrade for Samsung Galaxy M-series phones. It is presently available in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with other nations to follow in the coming days. The Samsung Galaxy A31 has received a security update from Samsung.
According to SamMobile, the One UI 4.1 update for Samsung Galaxy M22 based on Android 12 arrives with firmware version M225FVXXU4BFD8 and includes the April 2022 Android security patch. In Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, it is said to be available for Galaxy M22 units with the model number SM-M225FV.
The latest version of Samsung's proprietary skin, One UI 4.1, has a RAM Plus function. Other notable features include Google Duo Live Sharing, Smart Widgets, and enhanced low-light portrait photography. Smart Calendar and camera improvements are also included in the upgrade.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy M22 who are eligible will automatically receive the newest update. Users who are particularly interested can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. While connected to a robust Wi-Fi network and charging, users can update their Samsung smartphones.
In September of last year, Samsung Galaxy M22 was released in a few markets. The phone is yet to be unveiled in India.
