Samsung is expected to release a new entry-level 5G smartphone in the European market soon. This time, though, Samsung will release a 5G variation of an existing 4G model, the Galaxy A23.

Finer specifics about its launch are still unknown at this time, although it is likely to happen somewhere in the middle of this year. Given that we are approaching the halfway point of the year, the South Korean tech giant's announcement for the Galaxy A23 5G model could be imminent. The arrival of this gadget in Europe will add to the brand's inexpensive 5G Galaxy phone lineup.

The firm currently sells the Galaxy A23 4G smartphone, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. As a result, we can reasonably infer that the 5G iteration of this model will have certain hardware upgrades, particularly in terms of its processor. The information comes from reliable sources (via GalaxyClub), albeit a specific launch date for this future inexpensive 5G smartphone is still unknown.

Apart from a 5G CPU, the Galaxy A23 5G is expected to be very similar to the 4G version of the Galaxy A23. In other words, a 6.6-inch PLS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution would most likely be used. A 50 megapixel primary camera could be found on the back, with an 8 megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device would be powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery pack that enables 25W fast charging.
