Last year, the Chinese smartphone maker released the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 11 series devices. According to the company, the next smartphones would provide a significant performance boost over their predecessors. Meanwhile, a source claims that the next smartphones will be part of the Redmi Note 11T series.
Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing recently tweeted a teaser of the new Redmi Note series on Weibo, implying the series' impending introduction in China. A poster with the word Note, a space, and a question mark appears in the teaser. According to Weibing's post, the business is taking suggestions for the name of the forthcoming smartphone lineup so that it may be distinguished from the previous Redmi Note 11 portfolio. The document does not specify when the phones would be released in China or if they will be known as the Redmi Note 11T or the Redmi Note 12.
Weibing also reminds out that Redmi has released two generations of Note series devices every year since 2021. The first generation prioritizes performance, while the second prioritizes overall experience, providing consumers an option based on their various demands. He teased a "performance improvement" for the Redmi Note 10 Pro while soliciting feedback for the future smartphone portfolio.
Meanwhile, prominent leaker Digital Chat Station recently revealed in a Weibo post that the future series might be dubbed the Note 11T series, and would employ MediaTek SoCs, with the top-of-the-line model including a 144Hz LCD panel, which is reported to be in high demand in China. According to the source, the company's forthcoming Redmi Note series replacement would be priced between CNY 1,599 and CNY 2,500 (approximately Rs. 17,400 and Rs. 28,900). It's worth mentioning that Xiaomi debuted the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India last year, using a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and a 90Hz AMOLED display.
