Xiaomi launched the Redmi K50 line of smartphones in China a few months ago, in March of this year. In China, the regular Redmi K50 is getting a new colour and variation.


The Redmi K50 smartphone features 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, according to the company. This new model costs 2,899 yuan, which roughly translates to $435. It is now available for pre-order in China and will be released on May 26th.



In addition, the business has unveiled Qingxue, a new colour choice for the Redmi K50 series that features a matte white rear panel. It will be available for purchase starting on June 18th, with a starting price of 2,399 yuan ($360).


The Redmi K50 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate, according to the specifications. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor is in charge of the hardware.


The devices feature up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of inbuilt UFS 3.1 storage. The Redmi K50 features a triple-camera configuration on the rear, with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 20MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and video calls.


It comes preloaded with the Android 12 operating system and MIUI 13, the company's own custom user interface. The smartphone is powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 67W quick charging capability.
