The new Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will be available tomorrow, but you can reserve one now on the company's JD.com storefront. There are two types of cards: conventional and NFC. While they will be available at the same time in China, the global launch of the NFC version is likely to be delayed (that was the case for the Mi Band 6 NFC).

In any case, no pricing information has been released. The ordinary model of the 6th generation cost CNY 230, while the NFC model cost CNY 280. Prices were €45/€55 in Europe, respectively.

The latest generation offers a number of improvements, beginning with a larger display (1.62" vs. 1.56"). The usable screen size has been enlarged by 25%, according to Xiaomi, making it easier to examine your health and activity statistics.

Speaking of blood oxygen tracking, the band will now monitor your SpO2 value throughout the day and vibrate if it falls below 90%. This may aid in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.

The band also contains a training load calculator that uses EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption) data from the previous seven days to compute training load. It will advise you on how much rest you should take to recover and will assist you in your efforts to grow muscle or shed fat.

Some rumoured features, such as an always-on display mode, built-in GPS, and a smart alarm, have yet to be confirmed.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will be released in China tomorrow, but it may take a few months for it to reach Europe. More information will be available tomorrow.

Xiaomi, meanwhile, revealed that its smart band solutions have sold 140 million units worldwide. The 6th generation contributed to this, with 1 million units shipped in the first month of availability.
