OPPO is getting ready to introduce its next-generation Reno series smartphones in its native nation, and the company has now confirmed that the OPPO Reno 8 series smartphones will be unveiled on May 23rd.

It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm's new processor, which will be formally introduced on May 20th. If this turns out to be the case, the smartphone will be the first to use the new chip.

OPPO Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 SE are projected to be the three variants of the Reno 8 series. All three models' specifications have previously leaked online.

The Reno 8 Pro from OPPO will include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max CPU and will come with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W rapid charging. Xiaoyao Green, Roaming Gray, and Dark Black are the three colour options likely to be available.


The OPPO Reno 8 will come with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor will power the gadget. It will have a 4,500mAh battery with capability for 80W rapid charging. Slightly Drunk, Encounter Blue, and Night Tour Black are the three colours available for this one.

The Reno 8 SE has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is believed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. Slightly Drunk, Clear Sky Blue, and Night Tour Black are the three hues available.

A triple-camera arrangement on the back panel and a 32-megapixel front-facing snapper are expected on all three devices. The tablet will run the Android 12 operating system with ColorOS, the company's own unique user interface.
