  • The pricing and availability of the Nothing Phone 1 are yet to be confirmed.

Flipkart will sell the Nothing Phone 1 in India, according to the UK-based business. Nothing has also disclosed that its initial phone would only be available on O2 in the United Kingdom and Telekom Deutschland in Germany. The Nothing Phone 1 is the latest hardware creation by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei's company, which previously released the Nothing Ear 1 truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones as its debut product last year. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and will run a bespoke Android version named Nothing OS.

Nothing announced on Tuesday that the much awaited Nothing Phone 1 would be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. The firm initially collaborated with an online marketplace for selling.

Pricing, availability, and partner incentives will be disclosed at a later date, according to the business.

According to the business, the Nothing Phone 1 will also be offered only through O2 in the United Kingdom and Telekom Deutschland in Germany.

Notably, Nothing has not yet announced if Flipkart would be the phone's only partner in India. Flipkart, on the other hand, has built a separate portal to tease the impending phone's introduction through its marketplace.

Nothing India Vice President and General Manager Manu Sharma said in a March interview with Gadgets 360 that the firm may not be confined to Flipkart this time and may pursue alternative sales channels to expand its market reach.

"Everything is on the table," he said to a query about the sales channels for the Nothing Phone 1. "I mean, we're incredibly adaptable. We will be present wherever consumers are in order to serve them."
Nothing has yet to give any clear facts about the specs. It has, however, revealed that the smartphone would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. Last year, the business announced a cooperation with Qualcomm to begin developing new gear based on Snapdragon CPUs.

The Nothing Phone 1 will also run Nothing OS, which is based on Android. The smartphone will also have three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.

According to early reports, the Nothing Phone 1 would have a transparent appearance. Last week, several rumored phone specifications leaked online, including a 90Hz AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 778G SoC. Gadgets 360, however, was unable to independently verify the alleged information.

The Nothing Phone 1 will be available in India in the third quarter of 2022. The smartphone, like the Nothing Ear 1, is likely to make its debut in the nation with its global launch.
