Several sources have stated in the past that Motorola is developing a flagship phone under the codename "Frontier." It is planned to include two significant features. The first is that it may be equipped with the future Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus mobile platform, and the second is that it may include a 200-megapixel camera. Since a few months, Lenovo China's General Manager for the Mobile Phone Business department has been teasing its arrival. The executive appears to have teased its coming once more.

Chen Jin can be spotted on Weibo using an unknown Motorola phone in the screenshot below. It is claimed that he is implying the launch of a new Motorola flagship phone.

Another aspect of this phone is that it may come with 125W support. In March, Jin revealed a picture of a 125W charger, implying that the Motorola Frontier is not far away. The new Weibo suggests the same thing.

The Motorola Frontier is expected to be unveiled shortly after Qualcomm launches the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. The SD8G1+ is expected to be announced by the US-based chipmaker in early May. Along with it, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset is likely to be released.

In terms of configurations, the SD8G1+ chip is projected to have Cortex-X2 cores, Cortex-A710 cores, and Cortex-A510 cores. It might possibly have the Adreno 730 GPU. It will be a 4nm chip made by TSMC. Around terms of the Motorola Frontier's release date, the firm is expected to reveal it in June. It is rumored to include a 6.7-inch POLED FHD+ 144Hz display, triple back cameras with 200-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 12-megapixel resolution, a 60-megapixel front camera, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired / 50W wireless charging capability. In worldwide markets, this phone is expected to be known as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
