Motorola has announced that a launch event will take place in China on May 10 at 2 p.m. CST / 11:30 a.m. IST. The Lenovo-owned smartphone company has made no mention of any of the devices that may be unveiled at the upcoming launch event. However, a pair of Motorola handsets have lately surfaced in the rumour mill, and these could be the brand's first smartphones. The Moto G82 is one of these phones, according to reports. It has been spotted at numerous certification sites. The other is supposed to be Frontier, a premier service.

Motorola did not indicate what we may expect from the event in its Weibo launch announcement. The rumoured Motorola Frontier device, on the other hand, is likely to be revealed. Recent leaks have revealed some details about what we might expect from this flagship product. A 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate could be included in this smartphone. Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset could power it. The Motorola Frontier is claimed to include up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. A 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP1 image sensor could be the star of its triple rear camera arrangement. A 60-megapixel selfie camera is also expected to be included in the smartphone.

Its 4,500mAh battery can also handle 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Moto G82 is another Motorola smartphone that has been circulating in the media. It has supposedly been discovered on TENAA and China Compulsory Certification websites, among others (3C). According to these rumours, the Moto G82 will have a 6.55-inch pOLED full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could include a Snapdragon 695 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This smartphone could include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera configuration and a 16-megapixel front camera in terms of optics.
