The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is a fantastic foldable phone, but one of its biggest flaws is the exterior screen's very tall aspect ratio, which makes typing difficult. That niggle may get better in the next generation, according to a new leak out of China today.
A translucent case for the Galaxy Z Fold3 is seen below, along with a few images of what appears to be a similar case for the future Galaxy Z Fold4. The latter has a little more width, hinting that the aspect ratio of the cover screen has been slightly improved, making it slightly shorter than the Fold3.
Of course, we can't be certain that these images depict a Fold4 cover, but if they do, and the case maker in question was working with Samsung's official dimensions, this might make the Korean company's next foldable considerably easier to use when folded.
The only other detail revealed by the case leak is that the Fold4's camera island would be similar to the Fold3's, with an elongated pill shape containing numerous sensors.
We also learned a few days ago that the Fold4's foldable display would have a less obvious crease, which was one of the primary complaints with its predecessor, so it appears that Samsung is gradually improving things in all aspects. Could this imply that the upcoming Fold will also include a genuine flagship camera system? Let's see what occurs next.
