iQOO unveiled the iQOO Z6 5G in March, with a starting price of Rs 15,999 ($209). The device has come with an in-box charger since its release. However, as disclosed by tipper Sudhanshu Ambhore, the business is now offering buyers the option to buy it without the in-box charger. The non-charger form costs Rs 1,500 ($20) cheaper than the normal version.

It is unknown when the business began selling the iQOO Z6 5G without a charger. The iQOO Z6 5G, which comes with an 18W portable charger, is available in three configurations: 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. They cost Rs 15,999 ($209), Rs 16,999 ($222), and Rs 17,999 ($235), respectively. On Amazon India, the base model is currently available with a Rs 500 ($7) discount, while the other two variants get a Rs 1,000 ($13) discount.

Only the base model (4GB+128GB) of the Z6 5G is available without a portable charger, as seen in the screenshot. It is priced at Rs 13,999 (about $183). While the smartphone is also available on the iQOO India website, it does not currently include the edition that does not have a portable charger.

Apple and Samsung were the first to market premium phones without a charger. Samsung began selling Galaxy A and M series phones without in-box chargers in March of this year. The Realme Narzo 50A Prime, which was just released, does not come with a charger. With iQOO now providing the iQOO Z6 5G in a new non-charger form, it appears that some of the next iQOO phones may not have a charger. There is a chance that selling phones without a charger may become the new normal in the smartphone market.
