HIGHLIGHTS
- The iPhone 14 Pro may include a 120Hz ProMotion display.
- It is supposed to include an improved Lightning connection and USB 3.0 speeds.
- The iPhone 14 Pro Max may sport a 6.69-inch screen.
The screen sizes of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are said to be slightly larger than those of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. This disparity in screen sizes appears to be the result of Apple's alleged decision to eliminate the notch and replace it with narrow bezels. These iPhone models are expected to include a pill-shaped hole-punch slot for the front camera and Face ID sensors. Apple has not yet made any formal announcements about the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) CEO Ross Young alleges in a tweet that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a 6.12-inch screen size, as opposed to the 6.06-inch screen size of the iPhone 13 Pro. Furthermore, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to sport a 6.69-inch screen, as opposed to the 6.68-inch screen of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Young goes on to say that Apple may release the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max with the same screen sizes as the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
A similar allegation was made in a previous article that included an apparent CAD render of the iPhone 14 Pro. This graphic demonstrates how the predicted pill-shaped hole-punch cutout, as well as the slim bezels, may appear on this smartphone. Several new leaks concerning the iPhone 14 Pro have lately surfaced. It will most likely include Apple's next-generation A16 Bionic processor. The normal iPhone 14 may, on the other hand, use the A15 Bionic technology that currently powers the iPhone 13 and the iPhone SE (2022). The iPhone 14 will reportedly include a 120Hz ProMotion display. It might come with improved Lightning connections that support USB 3.0 transfer rates (5Gbps).
